Business problem
Modern Construction Solutions wanted to develop their own in-house document management system since the off-the-shelf solutions weren't very good and people were spending too much time with physical documentation (i.e. blueprints).
Solution
I conducted on-site research with the company's employees, shadowing them while they did their various jobs, and looked for inefficiency in the workflows, compared it to how the existing software might solve the problem, and devised a better experience.
Outcome
Successful launch. The software has been in use with MCS for several years.
