What information do we have to provide to get started with XenBuild?
At minimum, we will need access to your product documentation (e.g. Figma, XD, etc) as well as any parts of the product you want modeled. This means if you have paid accounts, we will need one to test. We will likely need a number of man-hours from an employee at your company in order to answer questions. If you want to pull in data from applications like Jira, Figma, or GitHub, we'll need the credentials for the API.
What software tools does XenBuild work with?
We can pull data from any platform with an API. That means Atlassian suite, Figma, Google Analytics, ProductBoard, Hotjar, Mixpanel, Monday, and more. Pricing may vary depending on the complexity of the implementation.
Is it secure?
Yes, your data is secure and encrypted on our servers. If you have specific needs, such as with medical, defense, or other high-security industries, we can accommodate additional security, and can provide a quote for this enhancement.
Do you offer training?
Yes, we will train your team in how XenBuild works, how to read the graphics, and how to update data. At present we do not recommend changing the model of your product, but rather allow us to do that for you, as there is a complex science behind it. If you want to fully self-serve with XenBuild, that will be available in the future as we improve the editing user interface to make it more accessible.
Do you offer this as a standalone product with no services?
We don't currently offer XenBuild as a standalone product. The most important value we add is in modeling your product in a way that makes sense and that everyone will understand. It is the result of two decades of information architecture and UX expertise. It will take time for us to develop a training curriculum to reproduce this skill in your team members. But if you are very interested in having a standalone product, we are open to quoting a price for the necessary training and software development.
Can XenBuild replace Jira?
XenBuild wasn't expressly designed as project management software. Rather, it models software products and visualizes them, including the data from project management software like Jira. That said, it has been used in lieu of traditional project management software for front-end work, although the back-end work used Jira.
Can I download my data?
Yes. We can export your data in a number of formats including CSV or XLSX for the raw data and SVG or AI for the visual maps.
